NOTE:
If you have a nutrition appointment scheduled, please go to the Nutrition Forms page and read carefully.

In order for your insurance to be used for your nutrition appointment, prior to your visit you must check with your insurance company to make sure you have coverage for nutrition counseling, and find out what your copay is. We cannot determine this information for you. Depending on insurance, your copay may be for either a regular office visit, a specialist visit, or you may have no copay as it may be considered “prevention.”

General Nutrition Counseling

Our Nutrition Director, Hillary Wright works with individuals to address specific health concerns such as weight loss, women’s health issues, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, food sensitivities, allergies, gluten and lactose intolerance, and more. By conducting a detailed diet and lifestyle history, Hillary will develop a tailored plan and implement sensible modifications to promote a healthier lifestyle or achieve a specific health-related goal.

Nutrition Counseling for Fertility

Many women who experience infertility from ovulatory disorders often conceive after making diet and lifestyle changes. Studies have shown that women who regularly consume diets high in refined carbohydrates and simple sugars, are more likely to experience insulin resistance, particularly if they are overweight. High levels of insulin can cause weight gain, hormone imbalance, and a disruption in ovulation. If you have an ovulatory disorder, or simply want to eat nutritiously to support a healthy pregnancy, Hillary’s counseling services can help. She understands the relationship between optimal nutrition and fertility, and will provide you with the tools to achieve improved health.
